Monitoring - We are currently experiencing an issue where notification emails for SharePoint File Requests are not being delivered to recipients. This issue affects all SharePoint sites globally and is not limited to University of Toronto sites.

As a workaround, please use the Copy link feature to manually compose and send an email when requesting files via SharePoint.

Microsoft has acknowledged the issue and confirmed that a hotfix is in development. However, there is currently no estimated timeline for its deployment.

We are actively monitoring the situation and will provide updates on the ITS System Status page as more information becomes available.

Investigating - File Requests are not sending out notification emails to recipients, both external and email addresses. This effects all SharePoint sites. This may be a global error, as other tenants are experiencing the same issue.

As a temporary workaround, use the Copy link feature and manually compose and send an email when using File Requests.

We're are working with MS Support to resolve the issue.

You may contact the Joint Operations Group (JOG) using the e-mail link above or by calling 416-978-4621. The JOG is staffed Monday to Friday, 7am-3:15pm.

We recommend that you sign up to receive push notifications of service outages. Data Centre (DCB) Electrical Maintenance Jun 21, 2025 07:00 - Jun 22, 2025 07:00 EDT

Please be advised that maintenance work will be carried out in our Data Centre DCB to replace an electrical panel from Saturday, June 21 at 07:00h to 19:00h, with a possible extension to 07:00h on Sunday June 22. During this period, the facility will operate entirely on generator power to ensure continued service.

We do not anticipate any service disruptions, but our team will be monitoring systems closely throughout the maintenance. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Investigating - Investigating – Following the recent renewal of the AMS certificate, some users are encountering an error when logging into the AMS SAP GUI.

After further investigation, we have identified that the issue is due to some devices missing a specific root certificate issued by Sectigo, our certificate authority.

Scheduled - The LISTSERV service will undergo a scheduled outage to migrate the LISTSERV server from AlmaLinux OS to Windows Server 2022. At the same time, the LISTSERV application will be upgraded from version 16.0 to 17.5. This change is necessary to streamline system maintenance and ensure the secure operation of the LISTSERV service.

I&ITS will be replacing a hardware component of network infrastructure at the Faculty to upgrade performance.

HOW THESE CONFIGURATIONS WILL IMPACT YOU:
This will mainly impact Clinic areas on the 1st and 2nd floors. During this maintenance window, there will be no access to the dentistry network, including computers, printers, and all other devices connected to the internet. We advise all affected parties to prepare and plan accordingly.
