Turnitin.com is an electronic resource that assists in the detection and deterrence of plagiarism. 

The University of Toronto has a license for the unlimited use of Turnitin.com by our instructors.  The Turnitin.com database searches over 4.5 billion pages on the Internet, millions of published works (including ABI/Inform, Periodical Abstracts, Business Dateline, and tens of thousands of electronic books), and currently holds over a million previously submitted papers (including paper mill essays).
