EcoPrint is an internal service available to ZOS mainframe (ROSI) users which enables elimination of paper printing and produces PDF output sent to a web page accessible by UTORid. Once users have a PDF, they can print selective pages locally (not at the central printer) or send the PDF to others or utilize PDF files in any other way.

Q:  How do I use EcoPrint?
A:  To use ECOPRINT in submitted batch Jobs, use the following JCL statement to send output to the Ecoprint service. /*ROUTE PRINT ECOPRINT 

Q: What print destination should I use for this service?
A:  ROSI users can use print destination ECOPRINT to direct output to the ECOPRINT service.

Q: How do I access my print jobs?
A:  Once jobs have run the printer output is accessed at by authenticating with your UTORid and password.

Q: How long are jobs retained in EcoPrint?
A:  Jobs sent to ECOPRINT are kept for 30 days.
